About Eleanor Rosenzweig
Eleanor Rosenzweig, LCSW, MTS, is a clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of PTSD and addressing obstacles to spiritual growth and fulfillment. Her psychodynamic and eclectic background allow her to combine elements of traditional psychotherapy, Brainspotting, EMDR and Buddhist psychology to the unique needs of each client’ Eleanor graduated in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and holds a post-Master’s certificate in Family Therapy from Smith College, Mass.
She is a certified trauma specialist in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is certified as an IPT therapist (Interpersonal Psychotherapy). Eleanor is a certified CBRT (Compassion Based Resilience Training) teacher and a graduate of the Contemplative Psychotherapy program. She has offered online counselling sessions for individuals and groups for the past 14 years, In addition to her private practice Eleanor is an adjunct lecturer in the department of Psychiatry at Queens University, Kingston, Canada. She divides her time between Canada and the US and loves art, music, poetry, dogs, canoeing and hockey.
